Rigorous, Transparent and Comprehensive Journal Evaluation
By accessing, submitting data to or utilizing any service, metric or content provided by the Quality Journal Impact Factor (QJIF) agency (collectively, the “Service”), the entity or individual (the "User") provides an immediate, unconditional and Mandatory Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This acceptance forms a legally binding General Agreement between the User and QJIF. Continued use of the Service is predicated upon and strictly limited by the User's continuous, explicit compliance with all provisions detailed herein.
The Stated Objective of QJIF is exclusively to conduct an independent, proprietary and multi-faceted analytical assessment of academic journals to establish a benchmark of scholarly quality and impact. The QJIF Score is for informational and comparative purposes only and shall not be construed as certification, endorsement or a guarantee of a journal's ethical, operational or legal compliance.
The User warrants that it is a lawful entity (e.g., a recognized journal, publishing house, academic institution or authorized representative) with full legal capacity and authority to enter into this Agreement. The User further warrants that all data and information provided to QJIF is truthful, accurate and free from any fraudulent misrepresentation or third-party infringement.
The term "Material" shall be defined broadly and exclusively by QJIF to encompass all content, data points, metrics, submission criteria, editorial policies, acceptance/rejection rates, publication records and any other information in any format that is submitted by the User to QJIF or generated, displayed or analyzed by QJIF in relation to the User’s journal(s).
5.1. Material Removal Right: QJIF reserves the absolute, unilateral and non-appealable Material Removal Right to edit, modify, block or permanently remove any Material from the Service, including the factor assigned to a journal, at its sole discretion, for any reason, without prior notice or obligation to provide justification.
5.2. Efforts to Minimize Inappropriate Content: QJIF shall apply commercially reasonable Efforts to Minimize Inappropriate Content and data manipulation through proprietary quality control measures. However, QJIF does not warrant that all such content will be prevented or detected and shall assume no liability for any reliance placed on errors or manipulated data.
5.3. Notice for Removal: QJIF may, but is not obligated to, issue a preliminary Notice for Removal or a request for corrective action to the User. The issuance or non-issuance of such a notice does not waive QJIF’s ultimate right to action.
5.4. Ultimate Removal Action: Any action taken by QJIF to modify or remove Material, including the full deletion of a journal’s profile or factor, shall constitute the Ultimate Removal Action. This decision is final, binding and the User explicitly waives any right to judicial review or mandatory arbitration.
The User shall bear full User Responsibility/Liability for any and all consequences arising from the submission of Material or the use of the QJIF Factor. The User agrees to fully indemnify, defend and hold QJIF and its affiliates harmless from and against any and all third-party claims, damages, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, resulting from the User’s breach of these Terms.
The Service may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. QJIF maintains a strict External Linking Policy whereby it does not endorse, guarantee or take responsibility for the content, security or practices of any external sites. Accessing any external link is undertaken at the User's own exclusive risk.
